During your first visit, we will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth (dentition), gum (periodontal condition), bite (occlusion), and jaw joint (TMJ). Under ideal conditions, all four variables would function in harmony to provide a healthy and long lasting dentition that leads to proper esthetic, form and function.
We will assess the risk factors that may interfere with any of the four variables. Risk factors may affect the esthetic, function and longevity of your teeth. We will use x-ray, photograph and other aids to establish your baseline dental information.
